| After replacing everything that was worn on my strut suspension I still had the shakes. The alignment was spot on so out of desperation I started to experiment with the factory settings. I started with playing with the toe-in and to my amazement slight toe-out completely eliminated the shimmies!! |

In 2007 I replaced the idler arm bushing on my 1971 Super when I had shimmies; I used factory type with steel/rubber/steel. I also changed 4 tie rod ends and the front bushings, even though the front bushings still had some life left on them....
