So my son Jasper has had some hands on time helping build my 52, he's been the 3rd and 4th hands while building the engine and transmission. And he was there when we took it for the first drive.. so of course he wanted to dress as the car for halloween. Here's how that happened..
shooting for as light as possible, then checking proportions. Looks good
Priming
Painted Azure Blue and getting trimmed out
It's pretty light weight, but still had to use some padded shoulder straps
Done, the costume is a total crowd pleaser. Kids mostly don't get it but all the adults rage about it

reminds me of the time i made a CAD (cardboard aided design) for my four year old son for halloween, Thomas the Tank Engine. |
