Watchin' the NASCAR on the tee- vee today. We were at the other end of the lake last week hiding in the shade to beat the heat, watchin' ospreys pick perch off the lake, waitin' for the sunsets magnified by the smoke from the Canadian wildfires.
I almost wouldn't mention it except for "Go Bowling" signage all the way around the track. Girlfriend returns from the tournament in Fort Worth later tonight.
