I saw this very original '66 Beetle on Bring-a-Trailer this morning, and noticed a clever way of repairing the sun damaged top of the rear seat backrest.

Not sure what I am looking at since my 66 has no back seat. But thought this would help.

Thanks, Joe.
The original rear seat backrest vinyl wrapped over the top the same as the front seats. The repair here was cutting out the damaged material and splicing in a new piece of vinyl all the way across the top. |
