| I have a 72 standard beetle. My hood needs to be adjusted to fit better. Is there a preferred method and order of adjustments that works best? Also, is there a difference between a standard and super beetle latch that locks down the hood? |

For safety, this is a two step latch. I'm pretty sure 1968-1972 all use the same hardware, or extremely similar.
Is the issue with the latching that should be released with the cable? Or with the secondary latching that should be released while pushing the latch button? |
