My Kombi was without a washer bottle when I purchased it. I bought 2 O.G. ones from a fellow Samba member one was without the washer bottle cap seal and the other had only pieces of a seal. Since water sloshing around getting into the package tray below the dash seems like a bad idea, found an over the counter washer that after a slight modification will do the job. I used the original broken pieces as a guide to act as a stencil with which I could use a silver Sharpie to draw the outline on the replacement washer and remove the unwanted material. The result fits into the cap recess and provides a tight seal.

| Just did this update for my washer fluid bottle and it worked perfectly. Since they come in a 2-pack, I used the second one to make a steering column to floor gasket. Perfect size and fit. |
