| I must be doing some wrong because I can never find what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a set of fenders and can't search specifics. Any tips would be greatly appreciated,thanks. |

I’m only replying because I respect the practice of self deprecation. :lol:
At the top of every forum there is a separate category titled “Announcements and Sticky Topics”. The very first thread in that category is “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ). In that thread you will find a lot of the answers you’re seeking - then you can ask questions based upon your findings to narrow it down. If you don’t find what you’re looking for in specific FAQ thread, it might already be covered in another forums FAQ thread as some information overlaps.

It’s a separate section titled “Announcements and Sticky Topics” at the top of every forum - here I highlighted the FAQ in red, but it would be in same blue-gray color as the rest of the text.

I believe he's asking about how to search for fenders in the classifieds parts section of the site.
Here are some random screen captures of various searches I have posted in the past, I think one or more of them will help you:

Example, searching for "sheet metal" in the 58-67 Beetle parts section:
The most common issue I have seen is that people put their name or email in the "Username/Email" field on the classifieds full search page at:
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/search.php
Don't do that, that means you wants ads from that user ONLY.
So unless you are selling fenders yourself, you will get Zero ads found. :) |

I am in the Moron section too. For more than a decade (closer to two?) I have simply typed : “The Samba/whatever bus thing is frustrating me” into Google and it would magically take me to the threads.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED???? |

Google kinda screwed things up with trying to AI everything?
You can use the search box in the upper right of the site to specifically Google search this site only.
More complicated but same thing:
On google type whatever you want and put site:thesamba.com at the end
The site: entry tells Google to search that web site only |
