I call BS on this statement: "After having problems with *everything* I shipped to Canada". Tens of thousands of packages from the USA go through our postal system daily.
Unless you have only shipped one package or are shipping illegal goods.
Well OPRN I get to call BS on you. Do you know how many items I shipped to Canada? Do you know how many problems I had with Canada Post or your Customs operation?
Just to clarify this was perhaps 6 or 7 items. Some VW stuff, some accessories on a boat that had been sold. Every shipment was stuck with Canada Post for two weeks or more before being released to continue onto the customer. Customers were legitimately upset.
This was my actual experience. If you know my business better then me please let me know. |

My wife sorts and delivers the parcels for Canada Post for our area. She averages between 30 and 50 a day about half of which originate in the US. Do the math on that and remember that her route is but one tiny corner of this vast country.
Improperly addressed packages are the #1 cause of delays and that is not the fault of the postal service.
Also, I personally have bought dozens of VW parts over the last 5 or 6 years from the US both from vendors and privately. All of them have been problem free and the delivery time averages one week. The longest that I recall was a week and a half.
If you don’t want to do business with us that is fine. It’s your prerogative not to in a democracy. |

I havent had issues with the carriers as much as ive had with the buyers!
"I'll take it. will you ship to Czech? How much?"
I box it, take it to the PO , get a price only to be ghosted... then a few months later. "oh, sorry... I was busy. do you still have it?" |

Save yourself a trip to the Post Office. Use your kitchen scale and you can calculate the postage from the comfort of home by using USPS's website.
