This documentary on building a Hebmuller replica is fantastic. I have watched three episodes so far and can’t wait to see part 4 where the rear fabrication work is welded to the restored and modified back sections. It is important to be obsessive when building or restoring a vehicle which can last another 70 plus years, and the way you ponder over the detail is the same as I tend to do. Using the used front quarter drip rail to replace a section of the rear was such a brilliant decision, especially when modified using the shrinking machine.
I very much look forward to seeing this Heb in the future and hope to show my 54 Oval at the same show. |
