So my problem is I have a freeway flyer in my 54 bug and I put in the bus nose cone and bus hockey stick and the dimple on the hockey stick doesn’t line up. I check to see if it’s in neutral and it is just don’t know what the problem is any help would be great

Is it an original VW hockey stick, or an aftermarket one?
If an original one, there was no divot on the top since the Bus coupler is connected from underneath the bus. When you fit it in a Beetle, you have to drill the divot.
Rotate the hockey stick left to right, then put it in the center. Pull or push it into gear. This will be 1st or 2nd. Mark the very top and drill there. If your existing divot is off to one side, you will have to weld it shut and drill a new one. |
