Hi Everyone,
I'm close to starting my engine rebuild. I'm looking for a recommendation for a mechanical oil pressure gauge to check the actual pressure.
Thanks |

I'd also be interested in suggestions for a small, fairly accurate oil pressure gauge to screw into the case hole to help diagnose a possible issue with a 36hp engine. Even better (but not necessary or required) would be a gauge and a fitting that allowed both the new gauge and the stock oil pressure switch to be used together on a 36hp engine. I imagine that many before me have figured this out (pictures of this would be nice). Thanks for any ideas/solutions...

I have this on my engines. I was trying to put a kit together but put the project to the side. I have a fitting that screws into the case. Then at the end the stock sensor screws in to it. On the side of the new fitting a gauge screws into it. They are 10MM fittings. Send me an email and we can discuss the parts I have. |

Here's the one I have. You can see all the pieces in the last picture.

Is the case and sensor 10mm straight, or tapered (pipe thread style)? |
