My 65 came with a chrome faced in-dash ashtray. Most photos I've seen here show a body colored ashtray with chrome surround. So I thought the chrome on mine was done by the PO - even though it seemed unlikely.
Today, I came across another 65 on FB which has a chrome ash tray which the owner says is original to it.
So, was it just the 65s that had chrome ashtrays?
