| Yes! Thanks, but really the ones I have doubts about are the one on the back of the door and the front one of the quarter windows. |

sorry, took a while to find photos as there are some dead links and cars that are missing these bits! :cry:
as you can probably see this piece has needed to be trimmed - (perhaps a bit too much off the rear edge) advice is to glue before screwing chrome trim over it. you can also just see the seal on the top of the jamb held by a screw.

hello patricio,
like you, i was unsure for a long time how to attach these parts, especially those for the door's end and rear quarter.
I was recently able to study how these parts were fitted on a convertible from 1960, although you can see that the end piece for the door in its original state was shaped slightly differently to the one available today.
i have attached 2 pictures showing the rubbers in situ.
hopefully you can recognise their position well.

indeed, that`s how i imagined them to be fixed, but sorry to say that i was completely wrong! :oops: |

On my '59 Kabrio same problem..
Found some NOS clips for the chrome strip and on the back quarter windows also used rubber weatherstrip cement... yellow 3M. Too easy for somebody getting out of the back seat to do damage. |
