^^^ Thanks Man…. I really appreciate that. Thanks for taking the time to observe the process here.

The cool thing is that 95 percent of this panel will be put on at factory contact points.

Pretty fun stuff brother.

Thanks again…

Happy Friday Folks.

Ok so I got all the unwanted flanges and material off the body so I’m looking real good to click this donor on. First order of business is this big crews in the inner fender well. I plan to get it whipped into shape today. I have decided I want to weld/close up the lower rocker before I attach the quarter. I want to make sure everything is as rigid as it can be before the process begins. Looking at my day that will most likely all go down in January on its next rotation.

For the longest time I wanted to be able the raise and lower the height of the fabrication table, now that’s a reality. Picked this up used on Marketplace. A fresh coat of paint and it good to go. This will be nice.

I like the way you honour the tools you use by including them in the photos.

Great thead; it makes for compulsive viewing.

Hey Mr Mike.

Yep…. Cursing rite through it. No time to waste. lol

So what you see there is the wiring stringer I make to pull the harness through. I will be doing the same thing for your whip. Just a little extra love I show to help the next guy. 8)

The double wire just gives me confidence it won’t break on them.

Back at it.

Looking forward to making this quarter panel a permanent residence.

Once I got it removed for the last time I’m going to do some preliminary Repairs.

Looking good: that's a very clean donor panel, even if it does need a little finessing.
