From the rusty remains of my 54 it looks like possibly a second layer of steel around the shifting lever mounting. I have looked through some photos but it is not clear. One looks like there is a second panel but others do not.

Hoping someone has a photo or some knowledge of this.

Thanks

I did find this floor that appears to have a second layer spot welded on but this is an early Gerson panel.

The exploded remains of the front floor on my 52:

And one of my nos floor part: (sorry for the bad picture, its behind a lot of splits in my barn)

Thanks

After a lot of browsing photos I searched through my pile of rust and found the old floor reinforcements. Now I can see details of the lower panel I hadn't noticed before.

Believe I have all the information I need to make up accurate drawings. I also see how the floor was welded down to the reinforcements.

Need someone with an NOS centre floor panel to photograph the underside…

I found this photo that shows the panel edge.

Looks like you may have this figured out now but here's a couple more pics...

Not sure if this helps as it seems you’ve gotten some good photos. Note the early weld nuts, and the radiused area around the forward footrest mounting nut.

If you need any measurements let me know

Thanks for the great photos.

I requested some measurements on my drawing thread.
