I have parts left over from restoring my '65 and a bunch of stuff from 55 years of 356 ownership and I've been trying to get rid of it. If I value the time and effort to communicate with potential buyers, find shipping boxes, and ship the stuff, there is no economic benefit to me. It comes down to I'm going to all this work just to avoid throwing it away. I hate to throw it out, but I don't know what else to do. It's stuff that I really needed at some point in my history, which makes it hard to just pitch it.
Just minor ranting here. Thanks for listening. |

See if a local club would come by and take over the horde. Then they can take the time to find those who can use the parts . But they are off your hands in a weekend or two. |

I agree. It always feels better putting such a collection in the hands of those who stand a better chance of giving the parts a second life. If most of it is tagged or has part numbers, they'd probably put up a statue of you. |

Wouldn't a local club be the "horde", rushing in to sort through the "hoard"? |

Ha. I see what you did there.
But seriously, I would give the entire lot to one person, but I don't want a string of people coming through over a matter of weeks or months sorting through it to get what they want. |

Simple, contact the 356 Regestry Ohio chapter and tell them to come and get it.
