Hi there, I have been busy with a new project. I live in Oregon and for over 20 years I've been camping in my 1969 Westfalia all over the mountains and wilderness. I've created a show to document some of these adventures.

A couple of years ago, my daughter and I were featured on the PBS show Oregon Field Guide:

I really like to look for lost history and ancient forests. The channel is called Lost Trails PNW and I'd be honored if you take a look.
Thank you! |

Now up to 12 episodes! It has been a lot of work but also a lot of fun.
Mama Bus is all tuned up and ready for another season. It's amazing what an Early Bay Bus will do. Terrible roads, climbing mountain grades and they just come back for more a week later.
Just got back from Jamaica too, that will be a good one.
Thanks, please let me know if you like it. Tell your Bus friends!

Hi thanks for the comments! Not monetized. It's all about camping and conservation of the Oregon wilds via '69 Westfalia. |

hambone is just a good dude who likes to share his passion of VWs and natural history. He’s a creative musician and a big part of the VW culture in the PNW. If you like nature, history and exploration in a VW. Give it a watch and see if it grabs you. This isn’t some sort of, look at me trying to get views type of thing. He did it as a fun hobby. Honestly I’m impressed he does it. Dude is chill and not one who likes to be the center of attention. Good on you Bob. I’ve known him 10 plus years and several campouts. He never mentioned this YouTube thing to me. |

Hey Joe! Miss you. The bumper in all of the videos was formerly on your bus, the kindness of which I have not forgotten. Also appreciate the good words.
Last episode of Season 1 complete! I've been busy all summer in the Oregon wilderness filming Season 2, fighting a bucking bus and a whole mess of mechanical crap but we have persevered! Stay tuned TBA.
