I am about to re cover my front seats. This is a very original 63 ghia smooth black vinyl. And considering doing myself.
Does anyone have advice/experience on who to purchase quality seat covers from ? And. How complicated to do myself. ?

I got seat covers from KGP&R and my wife and I recovered them without difficulty. '68 Ghia with the tombstone headrests. It should be much easier with a pre-1968 Ghia without headrests.

KGP&R got the seat covers from TMI if I remember correctly. Delivery was quick and the price and quality good.

I highly recommend Sewfine. I got their seat covers for my 66, and they are very high quality. I'm really happy with them. Plus, the Sewfine seats have internal padding that allows you to re-create the pull-down contouring that the seats had from the factory (not all brands have this). They offer an additional kit to do this that comes with all the string and the 10" needle you'll need to create the contours.
