I'm looking at a clean driver 1977 Porsche 911 S with a Salvage Title.
Califonia title, I'm in Washington State.
I looked at BAT closed auctions, and Hagarty to see values, and I've been following the market.
Looks like the seller is asking about what a car in good to fair condition might fetch. Interior of the car seems great, paint is a MESS.
i've not seen the car yet in person, and will have a PPI.
Here are my questions:
1. What kind of 'discount' should I expect from it having a salvage title?
2. Has anyone gone through the process of getting a salvage car inspected and getting a 'rebuilt' title. Is a 'rebuilt' title the best case scenario?
3. What else should I be thinking about.
I'm just looking for a driver, and something I can Cars and Coffee and HPDE etc.
I fully understand that the car may be 'branded' and I won't get out what I put in if it needs any significant work.
