Hey guys. Hoping for some help with this here. My Fastback is as original as possible. Still fuel injected. So far only had to resort to the Ford Ranger fuel pump. The current problem I'm facing has got me real stumped. The car runs great with no issues whatsoever until the outside temps get above 75 degrees or so. Once it's warm outside after about 12-15 miles under load the car wants to stall out. Like I said this only happens when its warm outside. When this happens, I've been taking temperature readings on the block and finding that it's around 200-225 degrees. Any ideas of what I should be looking for? |

Check the resistance values of the TS1 and TS2 (one on the cylinder head, one on top of the case) As far as I can remember those are the only to temperature related sensors, but could be a bad condenser or something as well possibly that is acting up when warm. Start with the simple stuff though. I'm sure one of the more experienced D-Jet guys will be along at some point with more tips.
Also if you don't have it saved already, https://members.rennlist.com/pbanders/index.html |

Note that you check these sensor resistances with them disconnected. |

All good advice so far.
The next two things I would do is check fuel pressure at idle and watch what the gauge is doing when you rev it.
Check the ground bundles under the center intake manifold.
Check for vacuum leaks. Check that the MpS does not leak vacuum. There is a long list of connectiosn and hoses to check for vacuum leaks but start with these things. Ray |

Great. I will look into that. What are the resistance values supposed to be? Should I test them cold or after it starts giving me the issue? Many Thanks! |

Check the sticky at the top of the forum page. Tram has a good list of values of the sensors, along of things to check as to why it's running poorly, or not at all. |
