I’m thinking it’s time to sell my 73 . I’m the third owner for past 3 years . First two owned for more than 20+ years each.
It’s got 49k documented miles !!!
I’ve driven it less than 100 miles in 3 years.
Other than Bring A Trailer where can I list ?
The miles and the originality are the key here |

Samba. Samba. Samba, Samba, Samba.
On BAT you're selling to the whole world. Not necessarily a good thing. On BAT you're more likely to get tire kickers (IMO) who may or may not buy a Thing on a whim. Read on...
Click on the Thing category on TheSamba, you're selling to a very specific category of enthusiast. That's your market if you have a primo Thing.

I agree with the classified ads here.
I'd also suggest finding local classified ads. In Toronto we have something called Kijiji, which is an online selling forum which is part of the eBay group. It's very local, so the people looking are mostly close to you. You might not find a local buyer but if you do it makes selling your vehicle a whole lot simpler. You can run listings simultaneously in both or multiple places.
BAT is a great venue for selling vehicles but it's suited to very valuable vehicles where the hassles of BAT selling are offset by a big selling price. |

I have had good luck with FB Marketplace as well as the Samba. You put up with more "Is it available" auto messages on FB but I just ignore those and state it in the ad at the beginning. |

samba or facebook.
you have to deal with scammers and lots of armchair quarterbacks on facebook,
but really these days that is just part of life. I really wish though they could punish the scammers. Just don't take a deposit, talk to people on the phone and in person sales.
Ebay I think is no good anymore.... lots of risk selling there.
