I'm upgrading the house battery electrical side (and replacing the furnace while I'm in there). I need to disconnect the chassis battery from the isolation post as shown in the Winnebago schematic. It's noted as being close to the 12V converter, which I assume is the Magnatek unit.
I cannot find it. I've removed the Magnatek and the furnace, and pulled the 12V breaker panel out. I do see two ground studs aft near the taillight opening, but I do not see anything that looks like the 12V positive isolation stud. Where is it?

Thanks Kourt, you always come through. I removed the furnace, then removed that sheetmetal frame, and it did not have that stud. There is evidence a previous owner altered some of the wiring, so I guess I need to keep investigating. |

Looked at your past posts and looks like you have a 1995 like me.
As I posted in the thread kourt linked, no stud on the 1995 except the one behind my steering wheel. :D
Look for a splice in the purple wires- a y connection well sealed. That’s the equivalent I replaced it with a stud I installed. |

My 95 has a stud on the floor near the water pump. |

Good data point; Winnebago was figuring things out on the first model for sure. |

I suggest adding one. They are handy to have. |
