I bought this Californian import back in 2001 from an importer in Wales, UK, complete with no engine, and it sat pretty much as it was until 2015, where it was moved to a workshop to have the metalwork done.

After some initial progress, both work and communications stopped, and to cut a long story short, I got the car back last weekend:

In previous workshop:

WHAT NEEDS DOING:

It has had new floors fitted in place with screws for now - need to do a bit of tapping to close up the gaps between the flanges:

Some gaps up the front:

Looks like some previous accident damage up here, too:

The driver's side hinge panel is completely rusted through at the bottom - I have a later panel which I think I'm going to use to repair this, as the bottoms are the same:

Passenger side isn't as bad, but has rusted through at the bottom:

Looks like both sills/rockers will need replacing, too...

I'm pretty confident that I can do the repairs to a better standard than this previous repair on the fender closing panel:

The fender mounting flange on both of the inner fenders needs repairing, along with some bits along the front air intake:

The part I'm most daunted about repairing is the rear passenger side inner fender:

The driver's side looks like it's had some repairs too:

that car will need hundreds of hours of work by a professional and cost way more than finding one already done that NEVER needed floor pans welded into it. If you cannot do the work yourself, my advice would be to sell it. We repair them all of the time in our award winning Porsche shop, usually the owner purchased new and let it deteriorate and spends what it takes to get "his baby" back into shape.
