ADMIN: Suggest we add this to the FAQ Guide.
For those who have a 95 EVC with a DENSO AC compressor, and have not been able to find a replacement anywhere through the usual sources Like FCP Euro, Europarts SD, Go Westy, Bus Depot, Ebay etc. I spent 8-9 months ordering this compressor from every vendor that showed it as being available,.....only to later be told that the compressor was not actually in stock,......and likely no longer available.
I decided to take my Denso to a local Auto AC parts reseller, and it was the female owner that reached out to me to tell me that this "DENSO" labeled compressor was actually made by Sanden,....and that she could have the Sanden labeled replacement is a few days.
When it arrived, we visually inspected my "Denso" and the Sanden Side by Side and they were IDENTICAL in every way. I installed it myself with the help of a friend (Shout-out to Forum member Kourt who helped me with AC rebuild on Both of my Eurovans) who was knowledgeable about Auto AC systems,....with a new drier and expansion valve (after a back flush) and it has been working flawlessly since. Picture of it is of it installed in my van.
