| I've searched and can't seem to find an answer - what is the tolerance I should expect between the rocker arms and the rocker shaft? I was just adjusting my valves and with my fingers, I can slightly twist the rocker arm on the #4 cylinder exhaust valve like the inner diameter of the rocker arm opening is slightly larger than the rocker shaft. |

| From "Genau Genommen", March 1956, the radial play between rocker and rocker shaft is between 0.006 to 0.052 mm when new, with a wear limit of 0.080mm. So, measure the shaft and rocker bore at #4 to see what's up. |
