| M codes were rubber stamped in big print on the bare metal bodies before paint, likely to tell the welders what holes to add and where to put brackets, obviously whoever did that one ran out of room and got the plate. |

This has come up a few times, usually there are numbers on the bulkhead but sometimes found on the M-code plate too.
