this does not look copacetic. Barn find oval ragtop. pan is a 65, link pin beam, I think Select-A-Drop adjuster. Is this normal and does anyone have a patch panel for this?

Obviously a hack job, shame. As far as a patch panel, I would check the classifieds. I did a quick search and came up with this NOS one. Now, this is a 59 inner apron, as it has the 3 ribs, so no 100% correct, but I guess it depends on how far you want to go with your resto, or whatever your deciding to do with the car.

You might consider just making a patch for the damaged/missing portion. You could get a piece of 20g mild steel and experiment with creating the pressing shapes. I had good luck doing this to patch a hole in my trunk that had been cut for an Eberspacher.

That way you don't have to cut the rest of that VIN area at all.

That is an old school select a drop. Or as we have always called them select a death since one tube of the beam is not welded together anymore.
