this does not look copacetic. Barn find oval ragtop. pan is a 65, link pin beam, I think Select-A-Drop adjuster. Is this normal and does anyone have a patch panel for this? |

Obviously a hack job, shame. As far as a patch panel, I would check the classifieds. I did a quick search and came up with this NOS one. Now, this is a 59 inner apron, as it has the 3 ribs, so no 100% correct, but I guess it depends on how far you want to go with your resto, or whatever your deciding to do with the car.

You might consider just making a patch for the damaged/missing portion. You could get a piece of 20g mild steel and experiment with creating the pressing shapes. I had good luck doing this to patch a hole in my trunk that had been cut for an Eberspacher.
That way you don't have to cut the rest of that VIN area at all. |

That is an old school select a drop. Or as we have always called them select a death since one tube of the beam is not welded together anymore. |
