I’m currently restoring the pop top roof on my bus and planning to replace all the bolts (for the skylight, H-frame, etc.) with new stainless steel ones.

Is there a complete overview or list available of all the bolts and hardware used in the pop top? It would help simplify the ordering process.

Does this count?

Includes links to hardware/kits, but certainly shop wherever you wish.

Currently doing this as well. After stripping the original screws, I'm kind of wondering if they may be stainless? They look a lot shinier than most hardware I leave in my muriatic acid bath. Haven't held a magnet to them yet, but I don't recall seeing any rust on them while disassembling.

Original screws were steel.

I ordered a complete set from Westagon in Germany, all painted.

I was gonna put a kit together, paint them, but figured it wasn't worth my time sourcing, painting etc...

I see, that's a nice set! You only need bolts and washers rights? They also have the rubber cover caps.

Description says it comes with nuts and washers.

I didn't but the plastic caps, too expensive, can find them myself but you can order the ones you need, paint then if needed :)

Take the old ones with you to your local full-service hardware store (Ace, True Value, etc.) and match them up with new stainless-steel equivalents. They won't be an exact match, but they'll get the job done. We didn't use the hex heads as someone suggested but instead, we used large pan head Philips machine screws.

Can confirm. Removed them from the acid and they flash rusted.

Went to ACE to find something suitable but didn't.

Going to paint most of the hardware and replace the visible pieces ( rear hinge bolts and four luggage bolts) with stainless from Go Westy. Paint for the rest.
