Just bought a ‘66 bug that came with an odd footwell vent system that uses plastic piping to lead air from the small front fender-grills to the cabin.
It looks to be made for the car, and not something hacked together by a previous owner.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Could it be a real VW accessory? Or one of those oddities from an old J C Whitney catalog

its part of a aftermarket crotch cooler kit , someone posted one in the classifieds the last day or two , i forget its actual name .

$300 for this? LOL.
Amazon sells a set of four round vents with deflectors for less than $20. A length of flex hose and couplings would be less than $30. |
