View original topic: Quick Shifter Base, Short Shift? Need ID Help

After spending too much time looking up vintage shifters I asked a buddy on this one. He mentioned it might be a Quick shift of sorts. Something I have not though of. Pretty sure it uses the stock shifter, it is NOS and I only have the housing base part.

It caught my eye with the wrinkle paint and cast aluminum looking like some old speed part.

Any Info appreciated.

I don't recognize it. I searched the gallery per "DDS shifter" (Deano Dyno-Soars, which yours is not) and among many photos of different shifters, found what looks like a match to yours in this photo (snotchback gallery). Just below the direct center of photo, above the two ivory-knobbed shift levers.

Not much help...

Actually a Lot of Help and Thank you.
After staring at the pic for some time there are 3 MORE upper right quadrant by the Vanguards. I'll hit @snotchback up with a PM. Not sure the @ will call him out on this board.

Damn good eye and thanks again Rome.
