Hi,
According to official records one K70 was originally imported to the USA officially.
What happened?
There have been grey unofficial imports, but only one by VW. |

I don't know but my first guess would be either:
1. A demo model for VW of America to show around to dealers or other interested people.
2. A dealer brought one in for his own personal use |
