Need some help figuring out year of recent purchase..
Body vin 5792140 engine 8006643…
I asked google, AI and I got 1960 or 1964 .. very confused???

Slightly off since the VINs listed are the last number produced each month, 5792140 would be September of 1963.
If not familiar with year model changeover methods used, that translates into a 1964 Beetle. Pretty good chance that's the original engine as well. |
