I got this starter from Autozone using the lifetime warrantee on my old one. This starter has two threaded bolts and two spade connector locations. Of course the 1970 only needs one of each. Any idea which ones to use? Thanks.

The big wire connects to the threaded stud with nothing else on it. The small one connects to whatever small terminal makes the solenoid go "click" when you turn the key to the "start " position. Sorry I got no more help |

The extra spade terminal (on the left in OP's photo) is connected internally to the bottom threaded post, so is hot whenever the solenoid plunger has been activated by ignition start function. It is marked terminal '16' on some Bosch starters, and is used for things like electric fuel pumps and ignition resistor bypass circuits. |
