| I've noticed my 68 Square has started having this clanking/clunking or clicking sound whenever I apply the throttle. It's more intense in reverse, but can hear it at whatever speed in gear. Gets proportionately faster with speed. |

Look for loose rear wheel hubs. 68 should be swing-axle so no CV joints.

Yup, sounds like the axle nuts are loose. They should be torqued to 217 ft lbs minimum. It could also be loose lug nuts too, so it wouldn't hurt to check them. |
