Does anyone make a replacement glove box liner that is like 2" deep? You could use it for switches, guages or just reclaim some of the space behind the cover for other things.
Look at all that space...
Thanks!

You are switch obsessed. Its a Baja not the space station or an airplane. Fill the glove box with a carb kit fuel line extra nuts and bolts zip ties toilet paper ETC ETC Switches and lights aren't going to save you in an emergency. |

I do like switches and shit! The real thing for me is that glove box is wasted space, I figured I could use the space behind it to clean up my wiring. I keep spares parts in the back.

I've never seen a shallow glove box, anywhere.
Perhaps, you can fab one up either by 3D printing or cardboard and fiberglass over it for strength.
Just a suggestion. |

maybe put the gauges in the door ? it wouldn't be good for your passenger to hit that open door as your bouncing along the trail . |

The glove box is the perfect place for a first aid kit, gloves and snacks. My box is non-locking and has a sticker on it so everyone knows exactly where the kit is located. Where is your kit?
You frequently travel with a furry friend. What happens if they get hurt out on a trail?
Make it your dog box?
The glove box in my opinion is an essential part of the car. |

I have a fiberglass or maybe it’s just plastic glove box replacement that I got from a vw supplier . I think you could cut it to make it shallower and it would still fit. I don’t see you gaining much if any more space for storage. |
