I’m not sure if everyone knows that as of August 29, the De minimus exemption from taxes and duties ENDS! Up until then, and for many years in the past, each US citizen could import up to $800 US per day tax and duty free.
What this means: US citizens importing classic car parts will see customs brokerage fees and tariffs applied to their shipments. In some cases, perhaps the International seller can absorb some of these costs.
I am curious if hobbyists know this and also what they think of it?
