Anyone out there know of any vw shops,shows or get togethers in Oahu?
Making a trip out there in a few months and would love to see the local scene.

Well my information is old real old but maybe it can get this conversation started and help you out.
But back in the late 80’s there was a VW shop in Wahiawa it was one road south of the main drag through town. No signage nothing glamorous but the guy there knew his stuff was always helpful and had fair prices. I bought my first buy from him. We just called it Del’s VW Shop. His name was obviously Del. I am sure Del has long since passed on to the other side but maybe someone took over for him.
Hope this gets people talking here. Enjoy your trip I love it over there. |

Thanx for that, I know there is a heavy Vw presence over there. I’m sure I’ll locate something, was hoping to get a head start on things.
