I finished installing a new wiring harness per manufacturer's instructions. I have a "left over" wire, the gray one in the photo. It exits the engine compartment on the driver's side. What is this wire for? Did I overlook something in the instructions? Thanks.

Where does it land on the other end?
Whose loom is it? Did it come with a diagram?
Grey is not a normal color.
If I had to guess, I’d say coil +.
I could be wrong and often am. |

Yeah and that crimp on the regulator wire kinda lacks quality too.

kinda lacking in quality of professionalism too. Came 'dirty' and painted with over spray. :? |

| Grey wire should go between rear window to a relay in engine compartment for rear window defroster, pull the driver side quarter panel trim panel to verify |
