Thanks to the below post, I successfully redid the headliner on the cab portion of my 95 Eurovan camper.

I decided to start to related post to offer some helpful hints when I tackled the rear portion of my camper and its headliner. This headliner has the fabric wrapped over a thin piece of plywood.

In summary:

1. Remove the few screws on the passenger side of the headliner. The closet supports the driver side. These screws support the passenger side.
2. Remove the metal header and its three long screws.
3. Unscrew the front four screws holding down the top platform. Lift off and remove.
4. To make it easier and more room, I then remove the wooden support pieces for this platform. 4 in total.
5. There are metal support bars for the platform. Remove the bolts from one end to allow you to lift the the first 2 bars up. There is velcro tape attached to one of these support bars to the plywood. See below picture.
6. Slide headliner forward (towards the front end of the van) to remove. It's a tight fit but it will slide.

I made the mistake of not disengaging the support bars and did not realize there was velcro tape involved. The velcro tape was doing its job and making it impossible to slide the headliner forward.

After that, it was pretty easy to re-do the headliner as the fabric glues onto a square piece of plywood.

I hope this helps.
