Greeting, I was going some maintenance on my 67 beetle and saw a electric connection point under the distributor cap and seeing what his could be. I've never had it plugged in and it been working fine for years.

| Originally there was a green wire coming out of the harness on the upper left side of the engine compartment. That green wire plugs into the oil pressure sensor, which is what you're asking about. Not the same green wire that is shown in your picture. Different green wire. See if it's coiled up, maybe stuffed behind the fan shroud or something. It really needs to be working since it's the early warning sign of a drop in oil pressure. |
