That one actually looks like it may have some potential! Fairly complete.

Seeing one with a hitch on it is kind of a scary thought. Its an automatic.

That back speaker deck looks almost like it was a purpose made dealer optiion. My first 1972 411 had those same exact speakers but installed up front in the kick panels. I think they were either Toshiba or Sanyo surpface mount. Interesting!

Thanks! Wish I had room, time and $ for more projetcs!

what's the deal with the trim strip along the lower edge of the hood and on the engine lid... and how it goes all the way around the rear fenders? Is that normal?

The wrap around strip on the rear fenders that goes around the curve I have seen before. But the strip on the front and rear hood I have not seen. But....and this goes along with what I was talking about with that rear speaker deck looking like a dealer dress up option.
This car appears to have virtually all of the dealer available dress up trim options.

Notice that the rear hood still has one of the chrome louver's on it. The other one is laying in the back seat. The rear windshield corner vents are the chrome version. Notice the chrome finger plates under the door handles. It appears to have something like yhe Blaupunkt Wolfsburg 3 with the cool chrome bezel in the dash.
Lots of bling!
