I would like to see the results of an attempted sale of this at 4k. I would be very surprised if it exceeded 2k. This will be a proverbial money pit for most buyers except for someone with a stash of early convertible parts. A few more pictures of the front end, heater channels, and floorpans by the OP would go a long way in defining what a solid east coast convertible is or is not. I also think it's very childish and rude of some posters here to insult and criticize other opinions because you do not agree with what someone posted. This site is a valuable resource for all of us to use and having respect for the site itself and it's users makes it enjoyable for all.

Agreed. ^ From the only pictures so far, it looks like its had a front clip too.

If the channels and supports are truly super solid dry .. it would certainly add value.

If it were a sliding cloth sunroof car... it would bring more.

Not to mention a new top done right is about 3000.00 bucks alone. I love it when I see ads for cabriolets stating it’s done just needs a top. Yep I see you got a quote on a new top.

That must be installation alone. Last quote I saw for an early vert (cloth top) and real wood was $7K not including rear window or chrome strips. Fiberglass wood, vinyl top, cheap padding and perforated headliner was $4K out of a home shop.

That's definitely the deterrent in desire of a convertible build project.. hence why the sliding roof cars are always more desirable. Hell in reality.... they are more enjoyable and better to drive too. I probably made the wrong choice which one I sold..

I've been collecting parts for my 61... Im down to pretty much some wood and top material..

Id hate to store Canvas for 10+ years until I start on it.. but maybe I better start getting my wood bows gathered now..

Do you think canvas will last properly stored? 8-[

My labor is always free but I dont see the future being easy to source or buy new or cheap convertible parts
