Hello everyone!
We have a problem!
A friend of us bought a Bay Window Bus / comming from USA with an automatic transmission.
He want to make everything new. Bus came back from the Paint job and looks good.
Problem seems to be, that nobody nows how and where the hoses for heating and especially the throttle cable runs.
We think, someone cut's them away.
So the question is: Did someone have a high resolution picture of an Bus from below (please with automatic transmission), where we can see the running of all cables and hoses???? Maybe more detailed pictures?
That would be really great and helpfull!!!!
Thank you in advance!!!!!

There were two different throttle setup, one for the earlier 003 transmissions and one for the later 010/090 transmissions.
For the heater cables the tubes terminate at the crossmember just to the front of the front axle and ran to the right of the center heater tube IIRC. The guide tubes rust easily and someone may just have removed them, it's easy enough to install PEX or some other somewhat rigid plastic tubing in their place. The tubes are guides that provide a bit of support for the cables, but other wise aren't much needed. |
