My friend has a Ford cobra ( reproduction) with a bad turn signal switch. The switch is actually from a VW. But with a different arm. There are no visible ID numbers. How can we identify it for replacement? Number of wires coming out? TIA
There are 5 wires coming out- 3 for turn signals and 2 for high beam |

can you post a picture of it? is the high beam operated by a switch at the end of the stalk or by moving the whole stalk?
this is a russ thompson cobra switch made using a converted vw part. (not sure they're still available as he died)

so I would think you need the 66 - 67 turn signal switch 141953517F
one in the classifieds

| Foster, Thanks for the reply. Much helpful and appreciated . He’s going to try a 67 switch I had and go from there |
