Like this?

I'd be interested to see what the box looks like.

I'd say up to $100. I have one, it was $10 but it's not perfect. I think someone else on the site bought one for $5 at a show recently.

Back in the day we used to call early baby mirrors cats eye mirrors. But now that we have the wonderful internet, we can see that all the names we used to call stuff is wrong!!

their is two types... depending on model year...

one is factory... the other is aftermarket... early metal pre 1967 ones were sold by company's like EMPI with the day / night function...

the 1968 and later with the black plastic backings are factory optional... I would say by the late 70's thou they were just about standard...

sorry tried to post pic :( I was able to place it in the gallery though.

that could be off anything... defiantly not original... see the set screw adapting it to the stem... its a nice easy fix... but its nothing like an original or " aftermarket period " as I was talking about...

My '66 Variant has a day/nite mirror. It is actually white. The day/nite tab moves left to right, not front to back like modern mirrors. The tab has type on it that says "day" and "nite". I'll try to post up pics.
