Guys, I need your help and expertise!!! I have a 002 bus trans in my baja, eagle performance chromoly tubular trailing arms, and I just purchased a 930 cv joint kit from transform. I received 19.25" axles with this kit, which is what I measured them out to be. Other people have told me this is correct. The problem is, is that I assembled them today, and with the trailing arm at the bottom of the stop, (spring plates are notched about an 1" by the way), the transmission side cv joint roughly bolted in place, the trailing arm cv is about 1-2" away from the stub axle. What am I doing wrong?? Is there something that I am missing?? I have been told with the combination that I am running, that some guys can get rougly 10-12" of wheel travel. The trailing arm and shock (Ranchos) can all do that. Help!!! Any and all ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,
Eric

i have the same setup with different brand arms. i just went out and lowered my arm down and it went what i would guess to be about the equivalent of 1" notched springplates before the cv decided to bind

binding cvs

ride height?

Oh my!! I can't help but I hope I don't run into the same problem with my setup, but I am running the cheapo box arms. I would call eagle and ask him about it, if you haven't already. Let us know what you find.

i went out and checked my receipt. 19.25"

dont forget, the inner portion of the cv can move in and out as well as angular.
