as far as the weight??? How much you wanna put on! :) Couple guys said that the bedliner material is good on the undersides for keeping the spider cracks at bay when rocks fly up and hit the fenders. |

It won't hurt anything. I have bed liner sprayed in my interior for an easy hose off and I have it on the underside of everything as well, including my fiberglass pieces. |

Just a tip, Avoid that crap they sell in the cans at the local auto parts store. I bought some and tried it. I ended up with a friggen mess of gooey rubber all over that never got even semi-hard. |

My personal experience is that bed liner works MUCH better than the petroleum based "rubberized undercoating". I used the cheap brush on bed liner on the undersides of my fenders and it has worked really well so far. Nice looking and no sipder cracks as of yet.

I actually went to one of those places that sprays it into pickups about a 1/2 deep. I didn't have them put nearly that much on my car but they did a nice job. The stuff you buy at the store is not bad, but it seems to lack some of the quality compared to a pro job. But...it also cost a lot more to have it done the way I did. I would say both ways work great and as far as bang for the buck goes, buy your own and do it yourself. |

I use the spray can dupli-color stuff quite abit on the interior areas of some vehicles, but its crap. It sprays thin and does not bond very well even well prepped. The roll on dupli in the can I have not used but I would imagine it does bond better but its still not as good as the rhino-liner stuff.
I looked into the gator guard stuff before also, You shoot it on witha "shuutz" gun for spraying like rocker guard material. I did a little reasearch and found its not all that great either, but I do have the gun! |

I pretty much agree with everything that Scott and Mdetro have said. However, the cheapy "duplicolor" stuff will work very well on raw fiberglass. Adhesion isn't an issue on porous surfaces like that. The cheapest route is the brush on, but the spray cans do offer a better finish.
