I have got my hands on this air cleaner that I was told is for a VW but am unure if it is for a Bug, Bus, Thing? I am going to try to attach a pic here Any ID would help ...thanks,

It will be worth a FRACTION of the real value. I bought one very similiar to yours for $50 on Ebay. And, it looks as though yours is missing the small rubber piece for the exhaust side of the filter.
