brazilian repos are availible. i use to sell german ones when i was a "sav-a-bug" distributer in 89's and 90's in wisconsin. none left.

How is the Quiality?????My stock ones are not real bad just a little pitting one the top that is now on the bottom......Donald

have you considered having them rechromed? They come apart fairly easy and while youre at it you can put in new springs. I just redid a couple sets for my cars.

Yea but not really up to speed on the local bumper place recroming abillity????Figured I cound get some repo ones and they wound look fine for a while?I just need Imput.....Thanks for your replies and I'll check into the rechroming option.....Donald

I just got a repop and it works just fine, looks alright too...not sure, but it's probably brazilian.

I got the repo. The chrome is kinda thin and "bluish". The repos all lock, so that won't work for your passenger side which is not supposed to be a locking handle.

Just drive the pin out and have them rechromed.

I want to lock both sides....I have 2 fairly good locking handles but would rather replace them or rechrome them.As long as the repos look fair and will work correctly they should be fine for my project.I'm not restoring it because It was in pretty rough shape being a former drag car......Donald

I just got a repro from Wolfsburg West. It is not bad at all. A whole lot cheaper then rechroming too.

incase you were wanting to know, rechroming was $20 each but I had to take them apart.
