Hi To all
i want to update the starter to 12v.
Right now i have a 6v and 109 wheel.
Is posible use 12v starter with 109wheel? i dont want to broke the gearbox for the 130.
Please let me know |

| Yes, there is a 12V starter with a larger gear. But it's pretty rare. IIRC it was used on the beetle with automatic transmition. If you don't find one you may still use your 6V starter with 12V. It doesn't really harm it... |

| I think you can continue to use the 6V starter. You may want to change the 6V solenoid for a 12V unit. |
